Hudson County Area Condo Information

Union City

Welcome to Union City

This Hudson County community has roots dating back to the early 1900s. There were two major waves of immigration that influenced Union City into becoming what it is today: First a wave of German immigrants and second, a wave of Spanish immigrants. Today this metropolitan community maintains strong ties to its roots. In fact, it's two nicknames, "Embroidery Capital of the United States" and "Havana on the Hudson", reflect key aspects of its founding.

"For unparalleled access to shopping, dining, and transit, look no further than Union City."

— Walter Burns
